Nail Polish Storage Solution. Helmer.

Ok. I did it. I bought a Helmer! I was skeptical about this solution because I was worried about only seeing the tops of the polish bottles. I didn’t think that drawers made much sense for storing polishes.

I have a modest polish collection however, and I was able to store my polishes laying down so that I can easily see the colors. This ikea Helmer is a great fit for now and still gives me room to grow my collection.

Here’s some pictures of how I organized the drawers. So much tidier than all the basket and totes that I was using.

Aw, now I’ve seen this I know I’m gonna end up with one of these – my collection just dosn’t stop growing! All looks very pretty though

I really hm-ed and hawed about it. But I think it’s perfect! I did put down some drawer liner as I heard that one of the downfalls of this unit was the polished rolling around.
Seems to work great. I am so happy!

Glad you were able to solve the ‘see the pretty colors’ problem! I’ve dedicated a bookshelf, but I don’t think it’s going to be enough if I keep on collecting polish. (haha, ‘if’ – more like when!)

Such a great idea! I am currently storing all of mine in a toolbox. May just have to ask my husband to get me one for my upcoming birthday πŸ˜‰

It really is perfect! I like the nail racks but it just isn’t practical for my house. This solution is perfect for me!

I had the same problem with not knowing what the colours were, so i took a dotting tool and made a dot of the colour on top of the cap! πŸ™‚
Now i know what colours i have! πŸ™‚
