Summer Garden nail Tutorial

This design turned out super cute.  It is so bright an summery! I thought I’d do a tutorial for this one.

Start out by painting your nails a base coat of white. I actually used O.P.I My Boyfriend Scales walls, which is a slightly grey tone.

Then add in some “blobs”. No need to be too exact for any part of this design.  I used a large dotter, but you could use the brush right out of the bottle.  I used four different light colors or polish.

Then I used a smaller dotter and darker shades of each color.  I added in little swirly’s with a smaller dotter. Again, its really not necessary to be super exact.  The idea will come across just fine.

Then using the smaller dotter I added in some leaves.

Finish off with your favorite top coat. And VOILA.

Here’s is peek at the colors that I used, skies the limit really.

Wow, this is lovely. It has a spring/summer feel to it. I didn’t expect for the process to be what it is…love it!!!

Super easy for you…I dunno how easy it will be for me…especially the non-dominant hand…but I’d like to try it. I have a few other designs lined up to try first though. =)

It’s definitely easier than it looks! Sometimes when doing a time consuming design, it’s just as fun to do accent nails.
Also I love the look of doing your left hand pinky, ring and middle fingers in the design and painting all the remaining fingers with a plain color.
Thats actually the look I have on right now.
