Brown on Cream Stamping

20120803-120701.jpg

For this design, I started with a creamy base coat. This is a little pinker than I had wanted, but apparently there is a hole in my collection! Imagine that.
I stamped with a Konad plate and Sally Hanson complete manicure in bittersweet. This wasn’t a perfect stamping polish, but it did the trick.

Do you have any instructions on your blog on the “how to” part of your designs? Like how do you use those stamp plates? Or how do you use the dotting tool? I love your designs and am thinking about investing in some additional tools but am not sure if I want to spend the money without knowing how to use them first.

Also on another note and I am sorry if there is a better place to ask questions that I am not aware of, but do you have any thoughts or opinions on the new gel polish that is available?

I don’t have a stamping tutorial. I think it is so much easier to see how to do it in video. There are so many great ones on youtube. Just search konad stamping basics.
The dotting tools are so easy. You just take the brush from your polish, any color you like, and place it on a piece of paper.
Then you dip the tool into the polish and and then dot on nail. Get a set for sure! They are so fun and versatile and EASY!

Hahah!!! It’s my therapy! Hard to think too much when your focussing so hard on those tiny details!

I just realized that I forgot to answer your question about gel polishes! I am personally too ADD regarding my nails. I get bored easily to I haven’t tried these longer lasting polishes. Sorry I can’t help more!
